Since 2016, BYW has employed seven coaches through Up2Us Sports and Americorps who have completed 6,200 hours of service in our community.
“I’ll be honest, when they first told me that we would be having wrestling as a part of our gym class I did not think it would work. After spending two days with BYW I can admit that I was wrong. All the students had fun and participated in some level. I participated in the games and will be using them in my classes in the future.”
